World class
My counselors really helped me work on past traumas that were adding to my addiction. I feel like the treatment here really is "world class" and I felt very cared for by all the staff.

Great!
I feel like the counselors here really cared about my husband's recovery. He seems like a totally different person now, and seems excited to start a new life in sobriety.

Above and Beyond
Serenity Acres was beyond expectation. I really felt like I was at home. The holistic therapies were amazing, and my counselors were incredibly helpful. I finally feel like I don't need a drink to get through the day.

Rebuilding
I needed this place more than I knew. I didn't realize how close I was to death- all the overdoses, all the chaos. I chose my drug over everything else in my life. The amount of counseling here helped me really get to the root of my addiction, and start to move on. Now I feel like I have the tools to stay sober and rebuild my life.

Recommendation
Great place. Helpful and experienced counselors, comfortable surroundings, and they treat the whole person. After 2 months here I finally feel ready to live a sober life.

Lots of Counseling
The counseling at Serenity Acres is incredible. There is significantly more one-on-one sessions than at other facilities I have been to, and having both addiction and mental health counselors is important when you have outside issues like I did coming in here. Now I believe I can stay sober, and can't wait to get into the local recovery community.

Individualized Sessions
Serenity Acres is definitely unique in the individualized therapy (addiction and mental health) and number of sessions. The additional therapies and services provided (like yoga and acupuncture) are very helpful as well.

Much more self control
After coming to SA, I have the ability to stand back and evaluate a situation prior to reacting. Also, I have developed a strong ability to maintain my composure, demonstrate objectivity when confronted with a situation, and have created a mental system of continued effort in having patience.

Luxury
Serenity Acres provided great individual treatment. They have great services to improve health/well-being, like access to gym and pool, massages, and acupuncture. Before treatment I felt like I had no life and wanted to end it. I was directionless and miserable. Now I have hope and goals. I found meaning for my life.

One of a Kind
At Serenity Acres there was a broad span of assistance, and the environment seemed welcoming. I didn’t seem like just a number there. My counselors were my reality, hope, and positivity. They are both appreciated beyond words and I’ll be forever grateful for their presence and assistance.

Sober and Happy
Since going to Treatment at Serenity Acres, I now see my parents trusting and now having faith and hope in me. My counselors help was too immense for words- they were the biggest and best help with my recovery and helping work through issues in my past as well as family life.

Changed My Life
Serenity Acres helped me realize that life is worth living, and that recovery can be exciting! Since coming here, I feel like I’m taking sobriety more seriously, and can now use the tools necessary to remain sober and actively participate in my recovery. Prior to coming to SA I HATED going to meetings, but now I am much more open to going, and look forward to going and meeting new people.

Awesome treatment
Compared to other facilities I have been to, what makes Serenity Acres stand out is the one-on-one counseling. Since I came here, I really want to begin taking care of myself. I have a greater awareness of myself, and know that I deserve to be sober.

Serenity Review
Serenity saved my life and showed me I can overcome addiction, that I'm not alone. They helped guide me to recovery and to opening up and share my story. Before I would hold everything in and thought I was alone when I learned I'm not. Serenity is fantastic. It is day and night compared to other treatment programs I've completed.
